Some very exciting news for Star Wars fans! It has been announced that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a popular attraction at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, will be getting new locations, new missions, and new controls!
Starting May 22, 2026, guests will be able to choose their crew’s destination, including planets such as Coruscant, Tatooine, Endor, or Bespin.
There’s also a major update coming to the Engineer position, widely thought of as the most boring spot in the ship. Well now everyone will be clamoring for that seat because Engineers will help SAVE GROGU!
The opening date for this attraction just so happens to match up with the opening date for the Mandalorian and Grogu movie (synergy!!!) … and the backdrops for the ride will match up with scenes from the movie. Pretty cool!
That’s the only information we have for now, but I’m sure Disney Parks will continue to drop some hints over the next year.
